Fun Paid Surveys FAQ

Answers to common questions we get about fun online surveys

To reach our Fun Surveys information desk, simply scroll to the bottom of this page and fill in the form.

Why do these fun surveys exist?

The reason companies pay people to complete surveys is because they want to know what their target audience thinks about their products, product ideas, advertisements, logos, slogans, etc.  This market research can help them develop and/or market the product more effectively.  Furthermore, it's far less costly than going straight to the marketplace.

An efficient and quick way to obtain opinions is with an simple and fun survey. In most cases companies hire survey research companies to handle the surveys for them.

This is where you come in.  Sign up with these survey companies online for FREE.  Now, to make this as easy as possible, consider using Robo Form, the form filling software, to do most of it for you -- just click here to download this FULLY functioning form software now -- it is NOT a demo.  And it is FREE to our visitors

Then, when the fun survey companies have a survey for you, they will email you an invitation.  They will include a brief description of the survey.  Just click the link.

What does a fun survey invitation look like?

Here's a copy of just one of the many survey invitations I receive on a regular basis:

Are there any fees involved to register?  What does it cost to join your ezine?

There are NO costs to participate in these fun surveys.  None whatsoever. It's free (no hidden costs).  We provide links to paid survey companies (and, in most cases, these links take you directly to the free sign-up pages of survey sites).  Then you enter in details such as your name, address, and email address.  Our content site is advertising supported...and free.

It's totally free to join so why not give this ezine a spin.

The worst possible thing is that you'll need to spend 1 second clicking an UNSUBSCRIBE link!

How old do you have to be to be paid to take fun surveys?  What is the minimum age?

In most cases, you need to be AT LEAST 18 years of age to do these online surveys.

Do I need experience to do fun online surveys?

No.  It is oh so simple.  You'll receive online survey invitations in the email.  Just click the link they provide.  You'll be transferred to the paid survey.  Fill in the pre-qualifying details.  If you fit the criteria they're looking for, you'll be accepted to do the survey.  Then just get your mouse ready... and start clicking boxes that correspond to the answers you wish to give.  That's it.  Click and be merry!  Piece of cake.

Can people do these surveys from any country?  What if a person lives OUTSIDE of the U.S.?

People from MOST COUNTRIES can participate.  Just about anyone from anywhere can participate (a few exceptions exist).  Right now, citizens from all over the world are doing this.  Basically, wherever there's internet access.

How long till I receive my first fun survey?

Judging from the feedback we receive and our own experience it could be a week or two before you receive your first paid survey invitations from a company.

How often will I emailed a survey?

It depends on how many companies you sign up for and how much demand there is for people with your characteristics.  The thing to do is to sign up for as many survey companies as possible.  We have enough companies for you!

The number of surveys you can expect to receive varies so much.  I think it's safe to say that you could see 1 - 3 survey invitations per month (per company).  I can't guarantee it, of course.

How do I ensure I receive all the fun survey invitations?

Set up an email account specifically for surveys.  And, check this account daily.

Or, if you do use your main email account (which has its advantages) set up a special folder for surveys.  Then set up a "filter" which will direct any email with a certain word in the subject or body to a folder of your choosing.

As soon as you receive the first email from a "fun survey" company, add them to your favorites list.  Be sure to mark the email as "Not spam".

How much time does a paid online survey take to complete?

Online surveys generally take 3 to 13 minutes to complete.  The survey questions are very simple so you can whiz through them fast.  Most of the survey questions are checkbox or drop-down menu style.  Just give your honest opinion even if you think a product stinks big time.  The survey company doesn't get offended.  And, neither will the company who commissioned the study.

How much money can I get paid for taking fun surveys?

No one with ethics can guarantee how much money you can make doing surveys.  It depends a lot on how many survey companies you sign up with, and how many online surveys they have available.  Also, it depends on how many surveys you choose to fill out.

Pay can be as little as $2 - $10 per survey.  Or, higher for focus group surveys. Regardless, it's a fun way to make money online.

The survey companies are in dire need of online survey participants...constantly.  However, I wish to reiterate, you will not be accepted for every survey.  Feedback from subscribers (we have an ongoing survey of our own) seems to suggest that you may qualify for about 25 - 33% of the survey invitations you receive.

How do I receive payment?  And, how often do they send checks?

Some fun survey companies will offer to pay you via PayPal.  You may wish to consider going for it as you'll get paid faster (and don't have to worry about the check getting lost in the mail!).  And, if you live outside the U.S., it might be especially valuable.  Otherwise, they'll send you a check.

As far as how often you'll receive a check??? It varies by company.  Don't fret it.  Just get started ASAP joining companies so you can get a steady flow of checks coming in (hopefully!).

Do I have to pay taxes on the earnings from online surveys?

I'm not a tax expert by any stretch of the imagination.  But, I do believe one must report survey income that's in excess of $600 a year.

International residents?  Sorry since laws vary by country… I can't say.  Please check with your government officials (web site?) if there's any doubt.  Sorry I can't be of more help!

Do I have to do every fun survey they send me?  If I don't do an online survey will they take me off the list?

No.  You do NOT have to do a given survey.  If you don't, it will not affect your chances of receiving future surveys.  It's all done by computers.

Privacy?  I don't want to be bugged by a sales person.  I don't want to be hit with the hard sell.

Fear not!  This ezine is totally anonymous and automated.  We do NOT send sales letters of any sort.  Sure, there are a few ads from companies INSIDE the issues.

You deal exclusively with our software.  There's no interaction with live people (unless you so desire).

By the way, in issue 10 you'll receive free firewall software to make your computer much more secure and keep your data private.
