Paid Surveys Ezine Issue 7
Hello and welcome back to
the Paid Surveys and Other Jobs Ezine!
In this issue
you will be able to download firewall software for free. This
software is security and privacy software. The software is
easy to install. If you are new to firewall software, feel
free to just stick with the default settings. It should be
smooth sailing. BUT, if you want to see a user guide on it,
just click here. This
guide is brief because you really don't need to know much. In
fact, you don't even need to know squat; just download and
follow the easy steps (most of it is just a matter of clicking
OK).
In this issue,
you'll also find a "Get paid to read ads" company
and mystery shopping companies.

"You are very
helpful and stay on top of things and are in constant touch
with those that registered with you, which, I might add, very
few do. It makes you feel good."
- Lucy Fields, Nova Scotia

"I am not discouraged
because every wrong attempt discarded is another step
forward."
- Thomas Edison
Survey Signups
Keep in mind that it may
take a while before you receive a survey from a company. But, the good news is that in many cases you will have already
been entered into their sweepstakes. Sure, you
probably won't win, but it's kind of fun to have the
possibility always in the back of your mind.
It's a numbers game. The more survey companies you join, of course, the better your
odds.
I can't sit here and make
wild claims about income potential. There's a ton of
hype out there. Fact is, many survey companies just
compensate you with sweepstake entries and gift certificates. But, there are some who pay in cash.

survey companies click here.

It will help you
stay "invisible" and protected. Even if you think the
odds of being hacked, spammed, and spied on are low, it's really
reassuring to have this line of defense.
Without a firewall, your
computer is operating under an "open door" policy. Bank
account information. Passwords. Credit card numbers. Documents
and photos that you don't want to share with the world. You
need to protect your computer, your information, and your
identity.
Just below is
a screenshot of the version of ZoneAlarm that resides on my
computer (main screen).
I had to shrink the
screen shot a
bit to fit it here and as result, it's a bit hazy.
Note how simple the
screen layout is. You really don't even have to mess with
anything. It was ready-to-go off the download (configures
to your system automatically). I do admit that I
like to look at the main screen to get a certain level of
satisfaction. There's a feeling of assurance...

Look at the number of "Blocked Intrusions". And, look at Inbound Protection. See how many access
attempts ZoneAlarms has blocked. Keep in mind: I
like to be extremely secure so I also have hardware firewall
on my router. Despite that, and additional security
measures, there were still access attempts from who knows who. Fortunately, I had ZoneAlarms on to snuff out the slugs.
If I turn ZoneAlarms off,
I will notice that in the interim my system has become
overloaded with resource-sapping spyware.
If your systems seems
slow, it could be that it is crawling with spyware and
adware. Turn on ZoneAlarms to combat that garbage.
Also, there are other
software I'll tell you about (free) and other measures to take
to help you further build your iron wall of security (I will
bring them up in coming issues). Believe me, there are a
ton of creeps, spammers, hackers, and weirdoes out there. You need every possible tool to combat them.

You'll get the software
from Zone Labs' server.

When you click
this link, you'll instantly be transported to ZoneAlarm's
server.
When you arrive at the page,
scroll down and click Submit. When you get to the next
page, go close to the bottom of the page. Choose either of
the following buttons: ZoneAlarm Pro Special Offer,
ZoneAlarm Plus, or Download ZoneAlarm (FREE).
They
have been around since the early days of the internet. And, their software has been downloaded...
numerous times. In fact, it's on over 30 million pcs.
Once you have downloaded and installed
this firewall software (it
mostly installs itself -- you just click a few yes/no boxes), the
ZA icon will rest in your taskbar/tray (left of your
computer's clock). It's an icon about the size of your
pinky finger nail. Small icon... big sense of security.
It's very user friendly. It comes
pre-configured. You do not have to make any adjustments.
Anytime you wish to turn
ZoneAlarm off, you just
right-click the icon and then click Shutdown ZoneAlarm.

We will be continually
making improvements in this ezine. We are considering adding
a couple of new sections.

People who live outside the U.S. please
note:
Some
people ask me if we have survey companies who serve this or that country. Let me just say that we have around
300 paid survey companies in our database. Of those, 190 are seeking
survey participants exclusively from the U.S. and Canada. The
remaining 135 are "international" (seeking people from the U.S., AND
many other countries). I don't know how many of them are looking for people from specific countries, say Australia, South
Africa, France, etc.
In many cases, if a company is not currently
looking for someone from your country, you will see a page that says "Sorry,
this offer is not valid for your area". This means you won't spend much
time wondering after you click a link.
Poll/survey. We want to get your opinion. We have an ONGOING ANONYMOUS poll. Your identity will NOT be
known, nor recorded. We want to receive input so we can
refine this ezine.
Hoping you score a bundle of surveys,
Chris James
